Remanufacturing is the process of taking used parts, completely disassembling and thoroughly cleaning them, replacing the worn components with original quality components, and restoring them to their original function. Every unit is 100% tested to ensure O.E. performance.

Verify that the PCM is correctly flash programmed for your vehicle. If your vehicle has the Ford passive anti-theft system, an on-car relearn procedure is necessary.

Not all Ford vehicles require a PATS reset. Refer to the PATS chart on the original equipment manufacturer’s service website to determine your specific requirements.

Before replacing the original ECM or PCM, identify the cause of failure. Typical reasons include poor grounds or power supply, faulty wiring harnesses, and shorted solenoids or relays.

ECM stands for Electronic Control Module, while PCM refers to Powertrain Control Module. Both manage engine functions, but the PCM also controls the transmission.
