Remanufacturing is the process of taking used parts, completely disassembling and thoroughly cleaning them, replacing the worn components with original quality components, and restoring them to their original function. Every unit is 100% tested to ensure O.E. performance.

PRODUCTS – Remanufacturing takes used, durable items such as auto parts and restores them to like-new—or sometimes even better—performance. This process allows for the identification of frequent failure modes and the implementation of design enhancements to prevent future issues. ECONOMY – Remanufactured products typically cost about 40% less than new ones. They are among the rare environmentally friendly options that are also more affordable than their conventional counterparts. ENVIRONMENTAL – Remanufacturing saves up to 86% of the energy needed to build a new unit and cuts greenhouse gas emissions by as much as 25 pounds per unit. By reusing existing products, it conserves up to 85% of the raw materials required for new production. Unlike recycling, remanufacturing preserves product castings instead of melting them down, resulting in greater energy savings and lower emissions.

No, not all Ford vehicles require PATS reset. Check the PATS chart found on the O.E. Manufacturer’s Service site for your application.

Ensure that the PCM was properly flash programmed for the vehicle. Also note whether the vehicle is equipped with the Ford "passive anti-theft system", which requires an on-car relearn.
