Remanufacturing is the process of taking used parts, completely disassembling and thoroughly cleaning them, replacing the worn components with original quality components, and restoring them to their original function. Every unit is 100% tested to ensure O.E. performance.

Certain GM vehicles require transferring a knock module to the replacement unit. Likewise, some older Ford vehicles need their calibration module moved to the new module.

PRODUCTS – Remanufacturing reuses durable goods like auto parts, returning them to the road with performance equal to or better than new. It also allows for identifying common failure modes and making design improvements to prevent future issues. ECONOMY – Remanufactured products typically cost about 40% less than new items and are among the few environmentally friendly products that actually save consumers money compared to their non-green alternatives. ENVIRONMENTAL – Remanufacturing saves up to 86% of the energy and 85% of the raw materials needed to produce a new unit, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions by up to 25 pounds per unit. It is even more sustainable than recycling, as it preserves product castings instead of melting them down, thereby saving additional energy and reducing emissions.
